This essay is based on case study where I have to answer couple questions based on the information from case. It should be 550-700 words. Also the references should be directly from the material that we are studying now. If you work on it, I will attach the material (couple pages) that we study now which is related to the essay to use some quotes/citation from there and use it as references. Mr. Krinn is a 44-year old man with a primary diagnosis of persistent vegetative state (PVS) secondary to anoxic brain damage caused by an automobile accident in January, 2008. He receives artificial nutrition and hydration (ANH) via a gastric feeding tube. After 6 months in the hospital, followed by an 8-week stay in an intensive rehabilitation facility, Mr. Krinn now resides in a religious-based nursing home. Because of a policy at the nursing home not to forgo ANH for patients who are not terminal, the pateint’s wife has requested that the feeding tube be removed at the community hospital and that the patient be allowed to die.
