He also tells you that he got involved with drugs while he was hanging out with his friends. He has waived his right to a jury trial and has asked you to decide the case and grant him treatment rather than prison time. Based on what you have learned in this unit’s readings, Discussion Board, and Seminar, explain how you would decide the case and why.
