1. Eating disorders are among the ten most frequent causes of disability in young women. Identify the major eating disorders, describe their main features and discuss four ways you would speak to adolescents about dieting and losing weight healthily and successfully.
2. Imagine that you could take a pill that would allow you not to experience emotion. You would have no depths of despair, no depression, and no remorse; however, at the same time you would have no happiness, joy, or love. Based on your reading of the function of emotions, would you take this pill? Why or why not? Be sure to cite evidence to support your reasoning.
The answer to each numbered question in a particular assignment should be at least 450 words in length, or between one and two double-spaced, typed pages.
