The Empirical Article Assignment is due in Module 5. I am providing some information (early!) to help you be most successful!
For this 100-point assignment, you are to locate and read one of the four assigned articles. You will compose a brief paper (400-500 words) in APA format, explaining how the scientific process was used to conduct the study and evaluate the results. Please use my grading rubric (below) as you construct your paper, in order to earn the best grade! You are expected to:

If you are not familiar with Psychological Research Methods, you can read all about them in chapter 1 of our text (beginning on page 35). Use Table 2.2 for practice in naming the independent and dependent variables.

Research methods CAN be a bit confusing in the beginning, but understanding research design is critical to your understanding of psychological experiments, so please invest the time!

Label the stimulus (S), the unconditioned response (UCR), and the conditioned response (CR). Create your own example, do not use Pavlov’s dogs!
